What this covers
This page explains what game2048 does with information when you play in the browser. There is no account and no download.
What we do not collect
The game does not ask for your name, email, or payment details. Moves stay in the page. They are not sent to a server, and there is no player profile to look up.
What stays on this device
Your best score is saved in this browser with local storage, under the key game2048-best. It is there so the score can still be on the page the next time you open it on the same device.
That score does not follow you to another phone or another browser. Clearing site data for this page removes it. The game cannot restore it afterwards.
Fullscreen
The Fullscreen button uses your browser’s own fullscreen control. It does not share your screen, camera, or microphone.
Cookies and measurement
game2048 does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not run a third-party tracker. The best score uses local storage, not a cookie. Details are on the cookie notice.
Children
The board is a simple puzzle and does not ask anyone to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, because the page does not collect personal information at all.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will change with it. The way the score is stored will stay described here.
